Introducing… Accessify
Accessify is a brand new service from igoo which will make your website more accessible to your visitors.
How does it work?
We will perform a thorough evaluation of your current site to determine the level of conformance with accepted international guidelines. Using a combination of manual and automated techniques, we will examine target pages in detail. We also examine the system as a whole and make observations about the site from the user’s perspective.
An evaluation can be briefed, conducted and de-briefed in as little as two weeks.
Deliverables
- A Detailed Written Report
The report comprises of a detailed description of each accessibility issue, with code line numbers and snippets of the offending code. It also includes technical guidance as well as suggestions on content and design. - A Presenation to the Project Team
The Presentation will be delivered to all relevant parties at your place of business. It will cover all of the aspects discussed in the report as well as recommendations on how to correct the problems identified. The points raised will all be reinforced with existing real-world examples. - Implementation of Improvements & Fixes
If required, we will implement the proposed changes discussed in the report and presentation. If you already have a design/content team we can work closely with them to help initiate the improvements. This step is entirely optional, as we are sympathetic to the fact that some companies like to use their own dedicated web team. - Certification
Once practical changes have been implemented and you have achieved your desired level of accessibility you can display the widely recognised W3C or “Bobby Approved” logos to demonstrate your commitment to accessibility.
