Silva Timber is a supplier of hardwood timber, wood finishes and fixings and has rapidly grown to become one of the UK’s leading importers of speciality timber products. igoo developed a single Magento e-commerce installation for Silva Timber in October 2010 and last summer rolled out two additional sites on the same platform, which consisted of Silva Coatings and Silva Wood Flooring.
Each Silva Timber website required the integration of a detailed shipping module, which was custom designed and developed around their individual requirements and complex product bundles. The site features a detailed UK delivery service, a resource centre for architects and designers and full customer account management.
The site enjoys year on year growth and igoo continue to provide on-going support and maintenance for Silva Timber, including an upcoming mobile site which is currently under development.
